Other Diseases

Some diseases (like multiple sclerosis, stroke, or inflammatory bowel disease, for example) are not primarily pain conditions. However, many people with these diseases do have significant pain. The treatment approaches may be different, since they may be aimed at the underlying disease. But pain management is an important part of the overall treatment plan.
